18" in height - this is an architectural type mantel
clock with champlevé decoration surmounted by a gilt
handled champlevé urn finial just above the champlevé
basket style pediment with stylized dore bronze urn and
flame finials at the corners. There is a narrow frieze just
below in an architectural shape with gold and blue
decorations. The facade of the case encloses the glazed
gilt dial bezel flanked by ormolu caryatid statues on the
chamfered case corners. The side panels of the casing
have champlevé decoration while the back of the case is
Dore bronzed with a door accessing the movement
compartment. The case rests on toupie type feet.
