Do I need to create an account to buy and sell on Chattic?

Yes, you'll need to create an account to shop, sell, or save your collections on Chattic. With an account, you'll be able to track the status of your order and chat with sellers directly.

How do I find items on Chattic?

There are a few ways to get started shopping on Chattic. If you know what you're looking for, try typing a keyword or two into the search field at the top of the screen.

You can also use our search filters either with keywords or on their own. Explore broad categories such as Art and Antiques. You can narrow your search down further by adding some tags. Finally, you can filter by price, whether an item has an appraisal, if an item is for sale, or seller rating.

What payment options do I have?

You can pay for your purchase using Visa, Mastercard, or American Express

How do I contact another user directly?

You can contact other users through our messaging system. On any listing page, you can click on Message under the seller's photo in the Posted By section. Once you've started a conversation, you can find it in the Messages section of My Account.

What can I sell on Chattic?

You can sell items that are antique, vintage, and/or collectible in nature. Chattic strictly prohibits the sale of illegal items, including but not limited to replicas or fakes, products derived from threatened or extinct species, misrepresented Native American or American Indian arts and crafts, Nazi propaganda, firearms manufactured after 1898, and stolen goods.

What are the fees for selling on Chattic?

Listing an item, whether you intend to sell it or not, is always free. If the item sells, Chattic deducts a 10% commission from the final selling price.

As a seller, how will I receive payment?

Before you can sell on Chattic, you'll need to create a Stripe account or connect an existing one. You'll receive payment to this account once the buyer has received and accepted the item. From there, you can deposit the funds into your bank account.
